# Plants monogram SVGs

50 plants designs, drawn as split-letter and framed monogram files built for a name or an initial to drop into. The set covers houseplants and leafy stems arranged for frames and monograms. They are made for wall art, tote bags, kitchen towels, journal covers, wedding stationery and layered shadow-box pieces.

Export **SVG** once the name is welded to the frame, or **DXF** for Silhouette Studio Basic. Weld before exporting or the frame and the letter arrive as two overlapping cuts.

## What people make with plants monograms

Wall art, tote bags, kitchen towels, journal covers, wedding stationery and layered shadow-box pieces, those are the pieces this collection gets used for. In this format they go on tumblers, tote bags, car windows, front doors, hoodies and anything that gets a name on it.

## Setting the name

A split monogram is a frame with a gap for text, so the type has to sit on the same baseline as the split or the whole thing looks tilted. Drop the text in, align to the split, then weld the letter and frame into a single outline, otherwise the blade cuts them as two overlapping shapes and the join gets sliced through.

## Getting plants designs right

A monogram stands or falls on the join: the letter and the frame have to weld into one closed outline before the blade sees them, or the split gets cut straight through. Leaves are ideal frame filler because they tolerate being cropped by the frame edge without losing legibility. Florals are the most layer-heavy subject in the catalogue, petals, leaves and centres are separate colours. Nest all layers on one mat before cutting; a five-layer floral laid out naively wastes more vinyl than any other design type.

## Questions

### What size should I cut plants monograms at?

Wall pieces 12–16in. Tote fronts 8–9in. Layered shadow boxes want 8–10in so the layers stay distinguishable.

### What is included in the plants collection?

50 designs covering houseplants and leafy stems arranged for frames and monograms, supplied as SVG artwork to open in CricutCraft Studio. Customize a design, set the finished size and choose an export format for your project. Check the preview and free or premium access before opening a file.

### Can I put my own name or initial in these?

Yes, that is what the split is for. Add a text layer, choose a font, align it to the gap in the frame and weld before exporting. For a batch of different names, use bulk personalisation and merge a list rather than editing the text field once per name.

### Will these open in Cricut Design Space?

Export SVG from CricutCraft Studio, then use Upload in Design Space to add the file to the canvas. Check the finished size and the operation assigned to each layer before preparing the cutting mat.

### Can I sell what I make with plants monograms?

Yes on the paid plan, which includes a commercial licence for the physical products you make and sell, tumblers, tote bags, car windows, front doors, hoodies and anything that gets a name on it included. Reselling or redistributing the design files themselves is not permitted on any plan.
