# Teacher monogram SVGs

25 teacher designs, drawn as split-letter and framed monogram files built for a name or an initial to drop into. The set covers apples, pencils, rulers, classroom lettering and teacher-name plates. They are made for teacher gifts, classroom door decor, name labels, first-day-of-school boards, lanyards and the tote every teacher gets in September.

Export **SVG** once the name is welded to the frame, or **DXF** for Silhouette Studio Basic. Weld before exporting or the frame and the letter arrive as two overlapping cuts.

## What people make with teacher monograms

Teacher gifts, classroom door decor, name labels, first-day-of-school boards, lanyards and the tote every teacher gets in September, those are the pieces this collection gets used for. In this format they go on tumblers, tote bags, car windows, front doors, hoodies and anything that gets a name on it.

## Setting the name

A split monogram is a frame with a gap for text, so the type has to sit on the same baseline as the split or the whole thing looks tilted. Drop the text in, align to the split, then weld the letter and frame into a single outline, otherwise the blade cuts them as two overlapping shapes and the join gets sliced through.

## Getting teacher designs right

A monogram stands or falls on the join: the letter and the frame have to weld into one closed outline before the blade sees them, or the split gets cut straight through. Name plates want bulk personalisation: merge the staff list and cut the whole set in one pass. This theme lives on names, which means bulk personalisation rather than one design at a time. Merge a class list from a CSV and cut thirty labels in one pass instead of editing the text field thirty times.

## When to make these

A hard peak from late July through the first week of September, and a second one at end of term. If you sell, that is the window the listings need to be live in, search traffic for a seasonal theme arrives weeks before the date, not on it. Personalised pieces sell earlier than anything else seasonal, because the buyer is waiting on a name rather than on a date, list them well before the rush.

## Questions

### What size should I cut teacher monograms at?

Tote fronts at 8–9in. First-day boards read at 10–12in. Name labels are 1.5–2in and get cut fifty at a time.

### What is included in the teacher collection?

25 designs covering apples, pencils, rulers, classroom lettering and teacher-name plates, supplied as SVG artwork to open in CricutCraft Studio. Customize a design, set the finished size and choose an export format for your project. Check the preview and free or premium access before opening a file.

### Can I put my own name or initial in these?

Yes, that is what the split is for. Add a text layer, choose a font, align it to the gap in the frame and weld before exporting. For a batch of different names, use bulk personalisation and merge a list rather than editing the text field once per name.

### Will these open in Cricut Design Space?

Export SVG from CricutCraft Studio, then use Upload in Design Space to add the file to the canvas. Check the finished size and the operation assigned to each layer before preparing the cutting mat.

### Can I sell what I make with teacher monograms?

Yes on the paid plan, which includes a commercial licence for the physical products you make and sell, tumblers, tote bags, car windows, front doors, hoodies and anything that gets a name on it included. Reselling or redistributing the design files themselves is not permitted on any plan.
