# Architecture SVG shapes

25 architecture designs, drawn as clean single-colour silhouettes that work as a base layer or a standalone cut. The set covers buildings, skylines, arches and structural silhouettes. They are made for wall pieces, doormats, storage labels, shelf signs, ornaments and the layered mandala that ends up in a shadow box.

Export **SVG** for any cutting machine, or **DXF** for Silhouette Studio Basic and laser software. Because these are single-colour silhouettes the export is one clean path per shape.

## What people make with architecture shapes

Wall pieces, doormats, storage labels, shelf signs, ornaments and the layered mandala that ends up in a shadow box, those are the pieces this collection gets used for. In this format they go on layered signs, shadow boxes, stencils, card fronts and any piece that needs a clean base shape.

## Building on a shape

These are deliberately simple, which makes them the base layer for something more complex: offset one to create a backing in a second colour, slice a piece of text out of it for a knockout effect, or use it as the cut line behind a printed design. A silhouette with a clean closed path is far easier to build on than a detailed illustration.

## Getting architecture designs right

A silhouette has no interior detail to fall back on, so the outline carries the entire read. Judge it at the size you will actually cut, not zoomed in. Skylines are long and thin. Cut them as one connected strip so the buildings stay on a common baseline. Doormats are not a vinyl job, cut a stencil, lay it on the coir and paint through it with outdoor paint. Vinyl will not bond to a coir mat, which is the single most common failed project in this theme.

## Questions

### What size should I cut architecture shapes at?

Doormats want 14–18in and a stencil, not vinyl. Wall pieces 12–16in. Storage labels 2–4in.

### What is included in the architecture collection?

25 designs covering buildings, skylines, arches and structural silhouettes, supplied as SVG artwork to open in CricutCraft Studio. Customize a design, set the finished size and choose an export format for your project. Check the preview and free or premium access before opening a file.

### Can I combine these with other designs?

Yes, that is the main use. Slice text out of a shape for a knockout, offset it to make a backing layer in a second colour, or weld several together into one outline. Everything stays a vector, so the result is still resizable with no quality loss.

### Will these open in Cricut Design Space?

Export SVG from CricutCraft Studio, then use Upload in Design Space to add the file to the canvas. Check the finished size and the operation assigned to each layer before preparing the cutting mat.

### Can I sell what I make with architecture shapes?

Yes on the paid plan, which includes a commercial licence for the physical products you make and sell, layered signs, shadow boxes, stencils, card fronts and any piece that needs a clean base shape included. Reselling or redistributing the design files themselves is not permitted on any plan.
