# Easter sublimation designs

25 easter designs, drawn as full-colour sublimation art, printed rather than cut. The set covers bunnies, decorated eggs, chicks, baskets and spring lettering. They are made for basket name tags, egg-hunt signs, kids' shirts, bunny-ear headbands and table settings for the Sunday lunch.

Export **PNG** at final physical size and at least 300 DPI, then print onto sublimation paper. There is no cut line and no weeding, the design is pressed into polyester, not cut from vinyl.

## What people make with easter sublimations

Basket name tags, egg-hunt signs, kids' shirts, bunny-ear headbands and table settings for the Sunday lunch, those are the pieces this collection gets used for. In this format they go on polyester shirts, poly-coated tumblers, mousepads, ceramic mugs and sublimation blanks, polyester or a poly coating only, never untreated cotton.

## Printing and pressing

Export the finished artwork as PNG at the size needed for your blank. Print using compatible sublimation ink and transfer paper, then follow the blank and transfer manufacturer’s instructions for temperature, time, pressure and mirroring. A mug, tumbler and shirt can require different equipment and settings; test your exact combination before a batch.

## Getting easter designs right

Sublimation ink bonds only to polyester and polymer coating, so the blank decides the result more than the artwork does, the same file is vivid on a coated mug and washed out on cotton. Egg patterns are separate layers over a base egg, cut the base first and register the pattern on top. Pastels on light fabric is the weakest contrast combination in craft vinyl. Put a white underlay beneath pastel HTV or the design vanishes into a cream shirt, one extra layer, and it is the difference between a photo that sells and one that does not.

## When to make these

Four to five weeks before Easter, which moves between late March and late April. If you sell, that is the window the listings need to be live in, search traffic for a seasonal theme arrives weeks before the date, not on it. Press a sample on the exact blank first. The same design reads noticeably darker on a coated mug than on a poly tee, and a seasonal run is the wrong time to find the gap.

## Questions

### What size should I print easter sublimations at?

Basket tags are 3–4in. A child's shirt front wants 7–8in rather than the 10–11in you would use on an adult. Egg-hunt yard signs read at 12in.

### What is included in the easter collection?

25 designs covering bunnies, decorated eggs, chicks, baskets and spring lettering, supplied as SVG artwork to open in CricutCraft Studio. Customize a design, set the finished size and choose an export format for your project. Check the preview and free or premium access before opening a file.

### Do I cut these, or print them?

Print them. Sublimation designs are pressed into polyester or a poly-coated blank, not cut and weeded, there is no cut line and no weeding. Export PNG at full size and print onto sublimation paper.

### Will these open in Cricut Design Space?

Export your finished artwork as PNG, then upload it into Design Space for a printed project. For Print Then Cut, select a compatible machine and prepare the final sheet, offset and sensor marks there. Sublimation printing follows your printer and blank instructions instead.

### Can I sell what I make with easter sublimations?

Yes on the paid plan, which includes a commercial licence for the physical products you make and sell, polyester shirts, poly-coated tumblers, mousepads, ceramic mugs and sublimation blanks, polyester or a poly coating only, never untreated cotton included. Reselling or redistributing the design files themselves is not permitted on any plan.
