# Teacher sublimation designs

25 teacher designs, drawn as full-colour sublimation art, printed rather than cut. The set covers apples, pencils, rulers, classroom lettering and teacher-name plates. They are made for teacher gifts, classroom door decor, name labels, first-day-of-school boards, lanyards and the tote every teacher gets in September.

Export **PNG** at final physical size and at least 300 DPI, then print onto sublimation paper. There is no cut line and no weeding, the design is pressed into polyester, not cut from vinyl.

## What people make with teacher sublimations

Teacher gifts, classroom door decor, name labels, first-day-of-school boards, lanyards and the tote every teacher gets in September, those are the pieces this collection gets used for. In this format they go on polyester shirts, poly-coated tumblers, mousepads, ceramic mugs and sublimation blanks, polyester or a poly coating only, never untreated cotton.

## Printing and pressing

Export the finished artwork as PNG at the size needed for your blank. Print using compatible sublimation ink and transfer paper, then follow the blank and transfer manufacturer’s instructions for temperature, time, pressure and mirroring. A mug, tumbler and shirt can require different equipment and settings; test your exact combination before a batch.

## Getting teacher designs right

Sublimation ink bonds only to polyester and polymer coating, so the blank decides the result more than the artwork does, the same file is vivid on a coated mug and washed out on cotton. Name plates want bulk personalisation: merge the staff list and cut the whole set in one pass. This theme lives on names, which means bulk personalisation rather than one design at a time. Merge a class list from a CSV and cut thirty labels in one pass instead of editing the text field thirty times.

## When to make these

A hard peak from late July through the first week of September, and a second one at end of term. If you sell, that is the window the listings need to be live in, search traffic for a seasonal theme arrives weeks before the date, not on it. Press a sample on the exact blank first. The same design reads noticeably darker on a coated mug than on a poly tee, and a seasonal run is the wrong time to find the gap.

## Questions

### What size should I print teacher sublimations at?

Tote fronts at 8–9in. First-day boards read at 10–12in. Name labels are 1.5–2in and get cut fifty at a time.

### What is included in the teacher collection?

25 designs covering apples, pencils, rulers, classroom lettering and teacher-name plates, supplied as SVG artwork to open in CricutCraft Studio. Customize a design, set the finished size and choose an export format for your project. Check the preview and free or premium access before opening a file.

### Do I cut these, or print them?

Print them. Sublimation designs are pressed into polyester or a poly-coated blank, not cut and weeded, there is no cut line and no weeding. Export PNG at full size and print onto sublimation paper.

### Will these open in Cricut Design Space?

Export your finished artwork as PNG, then upload it into Design Space for a printed project. For Print Then Cut, select a compatible machine and prepare the final sheet, offset and sensor marks there. Sublimation printing follows your printer and blank instructions instead.

### Can I sell what I make with teacher sublimations?

Yes on the paid plan, which includes a commercial licence for the physical products you make and sell, polyester shirts, poly-coated tumblers, mousepads, ceramic mugs and sublimation blanks, polyester or a poly coating only, never untreated cotton included. Reselling or redistributing the design files themselves is not permitted on any plan.
