# Free online SVG editor

Customize SVG cut files in your browser: add text, arrange shapes, change colors and organize layers. The editor is available to guests. Export artwork before moving it into Cricut Design Space or the compatible software for your machine.

## From idea to cut file

1. Start with a blank canvas or choose a library design. Check free or premium access.
2. Adjust text, colors, layers and size. Mirror iron-on artwork once when the material instructions require it.
3. Export the file and inspect it in the machine software before making a test cut.

## Supported export formats

SVG preserves vector artwork for compatible cutting software. PNG is raster artwork with a transparent background option for printing. SVG and PNG export are included in the free plan. Paid plans also include PDF and DXF. Check the resolution and supported formats of the destination software.

## Cutting-machine compatibility

CricutCraft does not directly control a cutter. For Cricut, upload the exported file into Design Space and prepare the cutting job there. For Print Then Cut, use Design Space to prepare the final sheet and sensor marks; an independently printed PDF does not replace that workflow.
