These designs are drawn at cap scale rather than shrunk down from a larger file. Stroke weights stay above the threshold where HTV starts to lift, counters inside letters stay open enough to weed without a pick, and the whole composition sits inside the flat panel rather than running over the seam.
The same files work as patch bases: cut the shape, press it onto twill or leatherette, then stitch or glue the patch to the cap. That route survives more washes than pressing vinyl straight onto a structured front, and it lets you make the patches in a batch before you have the orders.
