Refund policy

How refunds and cancellations work at CricutCraft Studio. Billing is handled by Paddle as merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method.

Last updated 16 August 2026 · Questions: hello@cricutcraft.com

The short version

If CricutCraft Studio does not work for you, email hello@cricutcraft.com within 30 days of a charge and we will refund that billing period in full. No form, no retention call.

Cancelling

Cancel yourself at any time from the billing portal in your account — no email required. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan with your projects intact.

Because cancelling preserves access for the remainder of the paid period, we do not pro-rate a partial month or year on cancellation. If you cancelled by mistake or were charged for a renewal you did not intend, tell us and we will sort it out.

What we refund

  • The most recent billing period, within 30 days of that charge.
  • A renewal you did not intend, where the account was not used in that period.
  • A duplicate or accidental charge, in full, regardless of timing.

What we do not refund

  • Billing periods older than the most recent one — cancel before renewal rather than asking retrospectively for several months back.
  • Accounts closed for abuse of the design library, such as bulk scraping or redistributing the files. See the design licence.

We do not refuse a refund because you changed your mind, and we do not require a reason. The free plan and the free plan exist so you can evaluate the whole studio before paying at all.

How to request one

Email hello@cricutcraft.com from the address on the account. Include the charge date if you have it. Refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes far longer to resolve for you than an email does — and we will almost certainly just refund you. Accounts with an unresolved chargeback are suspended until it is settled.

Who you are paying

Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for every Maker subscription. Paddle is the seller on your invoice, holds the card details — they never reach our servers — and collects and remits any sales tax or VAT due in your country. Refunds are therefore processed by Paddle, on our instruction.
