Terms of service
These terms cover your use of CricutCraft Studio at cricutcraft.com. Using the studio or holding an account means you accept them.
Last updated 16 August 2026 · Questions: hello@cricutcraft.com
Your account
- The studio, the design library preview and the mockup tools work signed-out. An account is only needed to save projects and to subscribe.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at hello@cricutcraft.com if you think it has been used by someone else.
- One account is for one person. Sharing credentials so several people can use one subscription is not permitted.
- You can delete your account at any time from settings. Deletion is permanent and takes your saved projects with it.
Plans and billing
- The Starter plan is free with no time limit and no watermark on exports.
- Maker is a subscription, billed weekly, monthly or yearly at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the billing portal; you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.
- We will email you before any price change, and a change never applies mid-term.
- Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller on your invoice, stores the payment details — they never reach our servers — and handles the sales tax or VAT due where you are.
The design library
Full terms are on the licence page. In short:
- Personal use is permitted on every plan, including the free one.
- Commercial use — selling the physical things you make — requires Maker. No per-item fee, no sales cap, no reporting.
- You may not redistribute the design files themselves, as files, in bundles, or as part of another library. The licence covers what you make, not the source art.
- Designs you used while subscribed stay licensed for products you already sell if you later cancel.
Your own work
Artwork you upload stays yours. We claim no rights over it, we do not train anything on it, and projects export in open formats on every plan — including the free one — so you can leave with everything you made.
Acceptable use
- Do not bulk-download or scrape the library. Automated harvesting ends the account without a refund.
- Do not resell, sublicense or republish the design files.
- Do not upload artwork you have no right to, or anything unlawful.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, or to disrupt the service for other people.
What we do not promise
CricutCraft Studio is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cricut, Silhouette, Brother, Glowforge or any other manufacturer. Machine names are used only to describe compatibility.
We cannot send a job directly to your machine — manufacturers keep that step closed. The studio exports files your machine software accepts; the final send-to-cut happens there.
The service is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it available and correct, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
Ending it
You can cancel or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — for library abuse, that is immediate and without a refund. If we discontinue the service, we will give notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app and by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
