There are two businesses here and they have different rules: selling the digital file, and selling the physical thing you made with it. Most licences permit the second and forbid the first, and getting that backwards is how shops get taken down.
A standard commercial licence covers physical products you make and sell — shirts, mugs, signs, tumblers. It does not cover redistributing the design file itself, or selling it as part of a bundle, because that competes directly with the licensor.
The paid plan here includes a full commercial licence for physical products. It is per account, and it does not expire for designs you used while subscribed — so a shop built on last year's designs stays legal after a pause.
The mistake is pricing against the design and forgetting the blank, the vinyl, the transfer and the twelve minutes of weeding. A $26 shirt with a $6.50 blank is not a $19.50 margin once you account for material and time.
The margin calculator carries the real wholesale cost of each product blank, so you can set a retail price and see the actual per-unit profit before you list, rather than after the first month of sales.
Personalisation is where the margin is and where the time goes. A twenty-name teacher-gift order is twenty manual edits of the same template, and manual edits are where typos come from.
Bulk personalisation takes a CSV of names and a single template and produces one finished design per row in one pass. The names come from the customer's own spreadsheet, so nobody retypes anything and nobody misspells a child's name on twenty mugs.
Listing photos drive conversion, but a mockup that shows artwork larger than the blank can actually take produces refund requests. Mockups here use each blank's real printable area, so what the listing shows is what the press can deliver.
