Mandala SVG shapes

25 mandala designs, drawn as clean single-colour silhouettes that work as a base layer or a standalone cut. The set covers radial layered mandalas, rosettes and geometric symmetry patterns. They are made for wall pieces, doormats, storage labels, shelf signs, ornaments and the layered mandala that ends up in a shadow box.

What people make with mandala shapes

Wall pieces, doormats, storage labels, shelf signs, ornaments and the layered mandala that ends up in a shadow box — those are the pieces this collection gets used for. In this format they go on layered signs, shadow boxes, stencils, card fronts and any piece that needs a clean base shape.

Building on a shape

These are deliberately simple, which makes them the base layer for something more complex: offset one to create a backing in a second colour, slice a piece of text out of it for a knockout effect, or use it as the cut line behind a printed design. A silhouette with a clean closed path is far easier to build on than a detailed illustration.

Getting mandala designs right

A silhouette has no interior detail to fall back on, so the outline carries the entire read. Judge it at the size you will actually cut, not zoomed in. Layered mandalas are the highest-precision cut in the catalogue. Cut each layer from the same origin or the symmetry visibly breaks. Doormats are not a vinyl job — cut a stencil, lay it on the coir and paint through it with outdoor paint. Vinyl will not bond to a coir mat, which is the single most common failed project in this theme.

Exporting for your machine

Export SVG for any cutting machine, or DXF for Silhouette Studio Basic and laser software. Because these are single-colour silhouettes the export is one clean path per shape.

Cut, score, draw and engrave operations are written as named layers, so Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio and laser software map them to the right tool without manual reassignment. For a printed sheet, the print-then-cut guide covers registration and bleed.

Questions

Doormats want 14–18in and a stencil, not vinyl. Wall pieces 12–16in. Storage labels 2–4in.

25 files covering radial layered mandalas, rosettes and geometric symmetry patterns, drawn as clean single-colour silhouettes that work as a base layer or a standalone cut. Every one is a true vector, so it resizes without quality loss and opens straight in the browser studio for editing before export.

Yes — that is the main use. Slice text out of a shape for a knockout, offset it to make a backing layer in a second colour, or weld several together into one outline. Everything stays a vector, so the result is still resizable with no quality loss.

Yes — Edit in the browser and export SVG or DXF for any cutting machine. In Design Space use Upload → Upload Image; layers arrive separated because each operation carries a distinct fill.

Yes on the paid plan, which includes a commercial licence for the physical products you make and sell — layered signs, shadow boxes, stencils, card fronts and any piece that needs a clean base shape included. Reselling or redistributing the design files themselves is not permitted on any plan.
